Attend a special briefing in Parliament about the NSW Government’s proposed changes to land clearing and conservation laws. The new laws will impact urban and rural parts of NSW and this briefing is relevant for all members of the public to attend alongside their elected Members of Parliament.
Speakers will be from the Nature Conservation Council of NSW, WWF-Australia, Environmental Defenders Office, Total Environment Centre and the Wilderness Society. Morning Tea will be provided.
Topics to be covered include impacts on urban communities, emerging carbon farming potential, biodiversity offsetting and how the laws compare to Queensland.
